I bought a yard of fabric to make these pants but it does not seem to be enough. When I place a pair of pajama pants or any pair of pants for that matter, on the fabric , there's not a lot of fabric left for the length or waste. What could be the problem?

I saw this video so long ago, and it inspired me to make soft pants for my many hospital visits. I finally found it again and realized I missed a couple of steps (no wonder they're a little bunchy lol). But thanks to you my MRI experiences are much nicer. Thank you.

Probably will do a "test run" with an old cotton bedsheet first…lol. What kind of fabric do you recommend? I'm thinking cotton would be great but I'm not that experienced of a sewer so am not sure. Thank you for sharing this!

I don't know if this has been asked yet or no, but how could you modify for maternity wear?
i am new to sewing with a machine ( i can hand sew all day lol) my question is, can you just sew over the pins? it wont harm anything doing that?
